Names are suggestions, not clearance

The names Hatchwords produces are algorithmic suggestions for inspiration. We don’t check them against trademarks, registered company names, or existing brands. Before you use any name commercially, you are responsible for confirming it is legally available — including a trademark search, a business-registry check, and domain and social-handle availability in your jurisdiction.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that any name is unique, available, or suitable for your purposes, and we’re not liable for any loss arising from your use of a generated name or of this site.

Acceptable use

Please don’t attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or misuse the site, and don’t use it for anything unlawful. The site’s design, code and written content are ours; generated names themselves are free for you to use, subject to the clearance responsibilities above.

We link to third-party services (such as domain registrars). We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, pricing, or terms.
