Privacy Policy

Hatchwords is built to be privacy-respecting by default. This page explains, in plain language, what does and doesn’t happen with your information.

The short version

Everything you type into the generator and every name it produces is processed entirely in your browser. We don’t send it to a server, we don’t log it, and we don’t store it. Close the tab and it’s gone.

Information we collect

We don’t ask you to create an account and we don’t collect personal information such as your name or email — unless you choose to email us, in which case we only use your message to reply.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics to understand which pages are useful (for example, aggregate page-view counts). These tools do not build profiles of individuals or track you across other websites.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links — such as the “check this domain” buttons and logo links — are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, the partner (for example Namecheap) may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you, and may set their own cookies on their own site. Their data practices are governed by their privacy policies, not this one.

Advertising

If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors (such as Google AdSense) may use cookies to serve ads. You can manage ad personalization through your Google Ads settings and tools like aboutads.info. We will update this policy to reflect any ad partners we use.
